In the cold and unconfortable landscape, the only available room was the modest stable where the animals were kept.

There was no other place that could receive Him.

The World, full of problems and of unrestful lives, worried itself with the powerful ones of the time, and reserved distinctions only to those who enjoy a life of luxury as well as of pleasure.

The simple and ordinary people were treated with indifference and disrespect, the doors were closed, making the journey more difficult.

But today, everything remains almost in the same way.

Nevertheless, during that night of clear and starred sky, among domesticated animals, in a small manger, turned into a comfortable crib, Jesus was born, who transformed the cellar into a scene of perpetual light, that continue to shed clarity in the long night of the centuries, for almost two thousand years...

Jesus inaugurated the era of humility and of renunciation, He elected simplicity, in order to teach inner grandeur as the only necessary condition for true happiness.

His kingdom, which was then installed on that night of cosmic harmonies, remains as an opportunity of redemption for all who decided to undertake it.

And his modest birth, still provoke historical echoes, never before foreseen.

Men and women, who learned His news and message, changed themselves, reorienting their life journeys and their behavior, becoming, from then on, beacons of light, pointing directions of happines for Humanity.

Innumerable triumphant warriors have passed away in the World since that time.

Powerful governors have established kingdoms and empires, which seemed to endure the ages, and became painful ruins.

Artists and technicians, of rare beauty and profound knowledge, have crafted shapes and sophisticated machines to make Earth better, and they disappeared.

Shrewd dictators and uncommon aristocrats have raised in the earthly  stage, showing status, vanity and superiority, which were silenced with their tombs.

They have, for a while, left strong footprints, that made some hated, others repelled, under the despise of the future generations.

Jesus, however, was different.

Misunderstood, the Singer of Love accepted the cross, not to consent with crime; and He embraced death, not to consort with the dead.

For this reason, He reappeared, in triumph and grandeur, remaining the most perfect Being that has ever been on Earth, as the role model that God has offered us as a Guide.

When Humanity experiences superb sorrows; when the social-economic misery assails millions of lives that struggles to abandonment; when cruel infirmities demonstrate the fragility of organic creatures; when violence deranges and kills; when toxics ruin large masses of youngsters in the World, along with other evils that reveals the pitfalls of materialism, then the figure of purity of Jesus reappears, inviting to reflections, to love and to peace, while the echoes of His Christmas resonate in silence: He, who has saved uncountable lives, asks that you try to do something, loving and liberating from bad deeds, at least for one person.

Remembering Him, in the night of Christmas, share goodness, imprint Him in your heart and in your mind, in order that you never be separated from Him.
