"God at Home" is a moment of family reunion with the goal to study the teachings of Jesus.

"God at Home" is truly a spiritual bath of light, which clears the mind and brings harmony home.

The communion prayer attracts the company of superior Spirits to the family household who then find ample resources to support all members of the family and keep the influence of the inferior spirits away.

Joana de Angelis (Spirit) says that when a family pray together in a house, all the neighbors in the street receives the benefit. She also says that when someone in a building raises her thoughts up high in a family meeting of the "God at Home", all the apartments are assisted as well, like a neglected lamp, lit in a storm.

The following script was adapted for a meeting of "God at Home", and it should be adapted freely to the family needs.

Every week, at the same day and time:

1. Start with a prayer.
2. Read a story or passage of Christ's teachings.
3. Ask for comments.
4. Close with a prayer in benefit of all beings.
5. Drink a glass of water, that was prepared before the meeting.

Here are some ideas to make the meeting of "God at Home" more appropriate for children.

• Music -- some children love to sing, but most importantly, a song may help the children calm down in antecipation of the meeting;
• Books -- it is importnat that the language of the stories be appropriate for the age of the child. The parents may "translate" more complex concepts to their level too;
• Play -- create a play about the stories that the kids love the most. It will make the story even more remarkable and fun;
• Arts and Crafts -- use clay, crayon and other arts and crafts to illustrate the story. Children respond very well to hands-on activities;
• Games -- They are fun, and help the children test they comprehension of the study.
