Janine Mattar Pereira de Castro is a pedagogue and has a master degree in Education from the Federal University of Espírito Santo, Brazil. She is a director at the Department of Education of the State of Espirito Santo. Mrs. Castro is a spiritist speaker and practictioner in the area of Spiritism Education and Spiritism classes for Children. She is a member of the Department of Child and Youth Education in the Spiritist Federation of Espirito Santo since 1990, and she was its coordinator from 2004 to 2008. Janine has also colaborated with many educational projects for the Brazilian Spiritist Federation.

George's Island Picnic

How to go?

Beginning at 9am, the ferry leaves every hour to George's Island from the Long Wharf-North in Boston (near the Boston Acquarium).

Cost:

Adults (twelve year-olds or older) - $12

Children (from 4 to 11 year-olds) - $6

Toddlers (up to 3 year-olds) - $2

It's a Potluck!

Everyone should bring a hot dish, or a soft drink, or a dessert, or whatever you like in order to make a big table and have lunch as one big family.

Swimming is not allowed at the island, but we can hike, play games, and picnic.

It is going to be a lot of fun.
